If my friend and I buy at the same time, can one of us get the referral award discount?
No. The referral award discount may not be used to further discount a purchase already considered a "special offer." In keeping with the spirit of the program, we want to reward you for using the StenoCAT 32 software and communicating your success to others. Therefore, to qualify for a referral award, you must own your license for a minimum period of 60 days.

What types of sales are eligible for the Refer-A-Friend award?
Any products which result in a first-time StenoCAT 32 license (either reporter or scopist) which can be ordered on-line through our website store. For each new customer who subscribes to a full year subscription to StenoCAT 32 as a result of your referral, we will automatically add three months to your current subscription.

How will Gigatron know I referred someone?
Every time someone orders a new StenoCAT 32 subscription, we will ask if he/she was referred by one of our users. All your friend has to do is provide us with your name and email address at the time the new order is placed. Please use the "email a friend" link above to ensure that your account will be credited correctly.

Do I get credit if my friend orders on the web?
Yes, we have updated our online checkout process to ask new customers if they were were referred by someone. Your friend must provide us with your name and valid email address at the time of purchase so that we can automatically process your referral reward.

How and when do I redeem my free months?
We will automatically adjust your subscription expiration date after sixty days. All you have to do is 'recut' your key, which you can do at any time. Subscription credits automatically accumulate and do not expire. You can view your account online for referral credits processed.

Is there anything I have to fill out?
No, there is nothing you have to do, no forms to fill out, and nothing to mail in. Rewards are issued automatically 60 days after the referral is received. You will receive notification via email.

Can I get credit for previous referrals and/or student subscriptions?
Sorry, but we can only extend the referral rewards to NEW StenoCAT 32 licenses for reporter or scopist subscriptions. Your name and email must be provided during the purchase process.

Can I get credit if a StenoCAT 32 student upgrades to a 'full' or 'scopist' subscription or if my StenoCAT 32 scopist upgrades to a 'full' subscription?
Sorry, but we can only extend the referral rewards to NEW StenoCAT 32 licenses. An existing StenoCAT 32 student or scopist would already have an existing StenoCAT 32 license and would simply be upgrading their features.
